Medical conditions and insurance
Medical Conditions
Lindfield F.C. Juniors, and those acting on the club’s behalf (from herein “The Club”), will take the necessary first aid action required should an affiliated member of The Club become injured in the normal course of a game or training session. However, The Club cannot take responsibility for administering any specialist medical treatment or device should a member require such medical attention. In these cases, a parent or guardian should always be available to administer such treatment and take the necessary action required and not hold The Club responsible for not administering or mis-administering specialist treatment.
It is the responsibility of all parents or guardians to inform the team coach of any special medical requirements that a member may have. In these circumstances, The Club will discuss with parents or guardians, in the strictest confidence, medical action required and will endeavour to work with them to ensure the safety of their children and all other members within the club.
In the interest of safety of players at training or matches, the club needs to be aware of any medical conditions that your child may have. Such information may be important to anyone called upon to treat an injury.
